Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. toasted sesame seed
- 1 lb. asparagus
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp. sherry
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 tsp. cold water
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Method
- Cut asparagus in diagonal pieces and cook a few minutes in 2 tablespoons oil.
- (Can add chicken breasts.)
- If you add cubed pieces of chicken, after stir-frying the asparagus, remove with a slotted spoon and brown chicken in oil.
- Then add asparagus, sherry, soy sauce, chicken broth and cornstarch.
- Stir and cook a few minutes until chicken is done and asparagus is tender.
