Ingredients
- 2 strips bacon (1/2-inch pieces)
- 1/3 c. onion, finely diced
- 1 lb. can Green Giant shelly beans (Bush's)
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- a few grains pepper
- 2 Tbsp. white distilled vinegar
Method
- Brown bacon lightly with diced onion.
- Add liquid drained from beans.
- Cook down to about 1/2 cup liquid.
- Add remaining ingredients and beans.
- Cook until soft.
- Serves 4.
