Ingredients
- outer green stems of celery
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 c. water
Method
- Clean and cut celery stems into bite-size pieces.
- Cook until soft; drain.
- Mix the sugar, vinegar and water.
- Bring to a good boil.
- Add cooked celery pieces.
- Set aside to cool and the refrigerate.
- Keeps well.
- Use as a sour side dish for any meal.
