Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground turkey
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1 chopped bell pepper
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 large can tomato paste
  • 3 Tbsp. cooking wine
  • 4 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 qt. water
  • 1/4 c. parsley flakes or fresh, chopped parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Using about 1 tablespoon of garlic with ground turkey; form meatballs and place in a 13 x 18-inch pan.
  • Bake meatballs until done in 300° oven.
  • Remove from heat and make sauce.
