Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. mandarin juice
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. chopped mandarin peel
  • 12 sugar cubes, broken in half

Method

  • Mix all ingredients but mandarin juice and sugar cubes.
  • Place biscuits on greased cookie sheet.
  • Cover sugar cube halves with mandarin juice.
  • When juice is absorbed, gently press one piece of sugar cube into center of each biscuit.
  • Bake at 425° for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Serve with Sweet Mandarin Butter or Mandarin Marmalade.
