Ingredients
- 4 tsp. butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 2 tsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Lightly butter a cookie sheet or jellyroll pan.
- Cream butter, then gradually beat in the sugar until well blended.
- Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat well.
- Mix together flour, baking powder and salt; mix into first mixture. Spread dough onto the cookie sheet as thin as possible, just enough to cover pan.
- Sprinkle with nuts and press them into dough gently.
- Mark with sharp knife into rectangle (cookie size), bake about 12 minutes.
