Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. Accent
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup
  • 2/3 c. water

Method

  • Combine first 8 ingredients in a large bowl; mix lightly until well blended.
  • Shape into 1-inch balls.
  • Heat oil and butter in a large frying pan; add meatballs and saute, turning several times for 15 minutes or until evenly browned.
  • Remove from pan and set aside.
