- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 1/2 tsp. Accent
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup
- 2/3 c. water
Method
- Combine first 8 ingredients in a large bowl; mix lightly until well blended.
- Shape into 1-inch balls.
- Heat oil and butter in a large frying pan; add meatballs and saute, turning several times for 15 minutes or until evenly browned.
- Remove from pan and set aside.
