Ingredients
- 3 lb. ground beef
- 6 Tbsp. onion, minced
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs, toasted (fine)
- 6 Tbsp. sharp grated cheese
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. milk
- 3 eggs, beaten
Method
- Mix all ingredients; shape into 1/2-inch diameter balls. Brown in small amount of fat in a frying pan.
- Place in large casserole.
- Cover; bake for 1 hour at 250°.
- Makes about 140 meatballs to be served with cocktail toothpicks.
