Ingredients
- 1 thick steak
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 1 can tomatoes or 2 c. fresh tomatoes, (optional)
- 3 or 4 sliced potatoes (optional)
- 2 cans mushroom soup
- 1 soup can water
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Vegetables may be
- sliced
- and
- chopped a day ahead and placed in plastic bag and refrigerated.
- Cut steak in serving size pieces;
- season
- with
- salt
- and pepper.
- Place in large casserole dish,
- sprayed
- with
- Pam.
- Add vegetables and pour soup
- and water over all.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake in very slow oven, 2 1/2 to 3 hours while you go to church.
