Ingredients
- 1 c. apple juice
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 6 c. tart apples, sliced (this equals about 7 medium apples)
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
Method
- Make your own favorite 9-inch pie crust.
- Mix apple juice, flour, nutmeg and cinnamon.
- Stir in apples.
- Put into pastry lined pie plate.
- Dot with margarine and cover with top crust. Flute edges.
- You can cover pie edges with foil to keep from getting too brown.
- Bake at 425° for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake 15 minutes.
