Ingredients
- 2 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, well beaten
Method
- Sift flour; measure.
- Add baking powder and nutmeg.
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs.
- Add dry ingredients; beat until smooth.
- Roll thin on floured board; cut with floured cookie cutter, then sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake in a 350° oven for about 7 to 12 minutes.
- Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
