Ingredients
- 4 large peppers
- 3/4 lb. chop meat
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 2 c. cooked rice
- 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Method
- Cut peppers across top and scoop out insides.
- Bring 4 quarts water to boil.
- Put clean peppers in and blanche for 3 minutes. In frypan, cook chop meat, garlic, onion and nutmeg.
- Drain and add rice.
- Spoon into pepper.
- Place in roasting pan.
- Pour tomatoes over and place in preheated 350° oven for 40 minutes. Serves 4.
