- 3 cup long-grain brown rice
- 1 lb ground beef 5% fat
- 1 medium chopped green peppers
- 1 medium red bell pepper
- 1 cup, chopped onion
- 3 clove minced garlic
- 2 can (14.5 oz) Diced tomatoes
- 1.75 cup canned tomato sauce
- 2 cup canned chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp dried marjoram
- 1 dash (1/8 tsp) salt
- 1 dash ground pepper
Method
- brown meat, add peppers, onion and garlic
- add tomatoes, sauce, broth and spices
- cover and simmer on low for 30 minutes
