Ingredients
- 12 medium mushrooms
- 3/4 c. butter, melted and cooled
- 4 pieces bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
- 1 (2 oz.) can diced black olives, drained
- 1/4 c. bread crumbs, fine
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp. garlic salt
Method
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Remove stems from mushrooms to make small crevice for stuffing.
- Wash mushrooms and roll in butter.
- Place upright in baking dish.
- In small bowl, mix remaining ingredients, reserve 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese for topping.
- Press mixture in crevice of mushrooms and top with cheese.
- Bake 5 minutes or until hot.
- Can be made in advance and frozen.
- Remaining mixture and mushroom stems are great in salad.
