- 2 (3 oz.) cans mushrooms (reserve broth)
- 1/2 c. minced onions
- 1/4 c. butter
- 4 c. softened bread crumbs
- 1/4 tsp. powdered thyme
- 2 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. mushroom broth
- 1/4 c. minced parsley
Method
- Melt butter.
- Saute mushrooms, parsley, onions and thyme.
- Add softened bread crumbs to this and enough water to moisten bread. Set this aside.
