Ingredients
- 4 lb. stewing chicken, cut up
- 3 qt. water
- 1 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 qt. corn (fresh or frozen)
- 3 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 3/4 c. noodles
- 1/4 c. alphabet noodles
- 2 hard-boiled eggs
Method
- In a
- large kettle cover the cut up chicken with water; add salt
- and
- pepper.
- Cook
- until
- tender.
- Remove
- chicken, strain broth and remove excess fat, if desired.
