Ingredients

  • 12 oz. pkg. jumbo shells
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 16 oz. cottage or Ricotta cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 12 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 3 Tbsp. chives or 1 pkg. frozen spinach, thawed and drained

Method

  • Prepare jumbo shells according to package directions; drain. Simmer tomato sauce, oregano, basil, onion powder, garlic salt and pepper.
  • Stir together the cheeses, chives and eggs.
  • Fill shells evenly with cheese mixture, about 1 tablespoonful.
  • Pour some sauce in bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  • Pour rest on top of shells.
  • Cover with foil.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
