- 12 oz. pkg. jumbo shells
- 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 16 oz. cottage or Ricotta cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 12 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 3 Tbsp. chives or 1 pkg. frozen spinach, thawed and drained
Method
- Prepare jumbo shells according to package directions; drain. Simmer tomato sauce, oregano, basil, onion powder, garlic salt and pepper.
- Stir together the cheeses, chives and eggs.
- Fill shells evenly with cheese mixture, about 1 tablespoonful.
- Pour some sauce in bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Pour rest on top of shells.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
