Ingredients
- 6 large green peppers
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 small can mushrooms, drained
- 3/4 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Method
- Remove seeds and wash peppers.
- Cook peppers 5 minutes; drain. Cook hamburger, onion and mushrooms.
- Drain.
- Stir in salt, garlic salt, rice and tomato sauce; heat thoroughly.
- Stuff peppers; pour remaining sauce over peppers.
- Cover; cook in a 350° oven for 45 minutes.
- Uncover; cook 15 minutes longer.
- Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
