Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. crushed pretzels (not too fine)
  • 3/4 c. melted margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 9 oz. Cool Whip
  • 6 oz. pkg. strawberry jello
  • 2 1/4 c. boiling water
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries (do not thaw)

Method

  • Mix the first 3 ingredients together and pack tightly in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350°.
  • Cool.
  • Mix the next 3 ingredients until creamy.
  • Spread on top of the cooled crust. Combine jello and water.
  • Add strawberries.
  • When it starts to jell (slightly thickened), pour over top of cheese, then refrigerate.
  • Best if made the day before serving.
