Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. crushed pretzels (not too fine)
- 3/4 c. melted margarine
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 c. sugar
- 9 oz. Cool Whip
- 6 oz. pkg. strawberry jello
- 2 1/4 c. boiling water
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries (do not thaw)
Method
- Mix the first 3 ingredients together and pack tightly in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350°.
- Cool.
- Mix the next 3 ingredients until creamy.
- Spread on top of the cooled crust. Combine jello and water.
- Add strawberries.
- When it starts to jell (slightly thickened), pour over top of cheese, then refrigerate.
- Best if made the day before serving.
