Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. white cake mix
  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 2 (2 oz.) pkg. topping mix
  • 1 small box strawberries

Method

  • Mix and bake cake as directed.
  • Mix together strawberry jello with hot water.
  • Let stand at room temperature.
  • When cake is done, immediately poke it full of holes with fork, the more holes the better.
  • Pour jello mixture over cake.
  • Refrigerate until well chilled.
  • Mix together whipped topping and strawberries.
  • Spread over cake and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Serve.
