Ingredients

  • 1 ready to use chocolate graham cracker crust
  • 1 8oz. container lowfat whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, washed & chilled
  • 1 4 oz package instant French Vanilla pudding - sugar free
  • 1 1/3 c skim milk
  • 3 T Amaretto liquor (or almond flavor if non-alcholic is preferred)
  • 1/3 c sugar
  • chocolate jimmies ( optional)

Method

  • Stem and slice berries - reserving 3 whole berries for decoration. Marinate in 1/3 c sugar & 3 T Amaretto while assembling filling
  • Whisk 1 1/3 c milk into pudding mix - set aside to thicken (5 minutes)
  • Fold sliced berries into pudding.
  • Gently fold pudding mixture into whipped topping.
  • Pour into crust. Decorate with reserved berries and chocolate jimmies if desired.
  • Refrigerate until serving.
