Ingredients
- 1 loaf Sourdough bread
- 1 pound Cheddar cheese
- 8 to 12 Eggs
- 12 strips of Bacon
- 1 cup Milk
- Butter to grease the pan
Method
- Cut a loaf of sourdough into 1 inch squares.
- Fry the bacon, drain and break into small pieces.
- Coarsely grate 2 cups of Cheddar cheese
- Mix 8 to 12 eggs and the crumbled bacon with the bread chunks.
- Add and mix 1 & 1/2 cups of previously grated cheddar cheese
- Place into a pyrex dish previously greased with butter.
- Add 1 cup of milk into a pyrex dish and place in the refrigerator over night
- In the morning before serving, bake for 40 minuted in a 350 degree oven or until slightly brown on top. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on the dish just prior to serving.
