Ingredients

  • 200 grams Peeled prawns
  • 1 bag Bean sprouts
  • 5 Green onions or scallions
  • 3 cm length Tubed ginger
  • 3 cm length Tubed garlic
  • 1 tbsp Sake
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Coarsely ground pepper

Method

  • Devein the peeled prawns and rinse in salt water (not listed).
  • Drain and sprinkle with salt and pepper (not listed).
  • Rise the bean sprouts and drain well.
  • Cut the green onions into 3cm lengths.
  • In a pan with oil (not listed), add ginger and garlic and heat.
  • Fry over low heat until fragrant.
  • Turn up the heat to medium and add the prawns.
  • After the colour of prawns slightly changes, add sake.
  • Add bean sprouts and green onions and season with salt.
  • Continue frying.
  • After everything is cooked, season with salt and coarsely ground pepper.
  • Transfer onto a serving dish and serve!
  • Avoid overcooking the sprouts to keep the crunch.
