Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lb. round steak
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 8 medium carrots, sliced
- 8 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 3 1/2 c. water
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Cut meat into serving size pieces. Pound flour, salt and pepper into meat and brown well.
- Arrange in 3-quart casserole.
- Place vegetables on top.
- Sprinkle with onion soup mix and add water.
- Cover and bake at 350° for 2 hours. Gravy may be made from liquid before serving.
- Serves 8.
