Ingredients
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
- 5 c. cooked winter squash (1 large butternut)
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Method
- Prick the bottom and sides of prepared pie shell.
- Bake in a 400° oven until golden.
- Make sure the squash is mashed.
- Mix squash with remaining ingredients.
- Pour into hot pie shell.
- Dust with cinnamon and serve with a green vegetable or tossed salad for main dish.
