Ingredients

  • 500 ml self raising flour
  • 10 ml salt
  • 75 g butter
  • 1 extra large egg
  • 125 ml milk
  • 5 spring onions
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 10 black olives
  • 1 egg

Method

  • Preheat oven to 200% Celsius.
  • Sift dry ingredients into a mixing bowl.
  • Beat egg.
  • Rub in butter, mix in beaten egg to form a soft dough.
  • Beat the second egg , then press out dough into a circle and brush with beaten egg.
  • Chop the spring onions, slice the garlic and halve and pit the black olives.
  • Sprinkle the dough with the spring onions, garlic and black olives.
  • Bake for 20 minutes.
