Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. margarine
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. dill weed
- 1/8 tsp. hot pepper flakes
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 12 oz. beer
- 1 lb. green beans, cut into 2-inch lengths
- 1/2 c. chopped parsley
Method
- Saute the onion in the margarine for about 5 minutes.
- Add the herbs, spices and beer.
- Bring to a boil and boil briskly for 3 minutes.
- Add the beans and cook, uncovered, for about 15 to 20 minutes or until the liquid has almost evaporated.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
