- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. curry powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 c. shelled whole almonds or pecans
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- salt to taste
Method
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Mix spices in a bowl; set aside.
- Heat the oil in a nonstick skillet over low heat.
- Add the spice mixture, stirring well.
- Add the nuts and stir well to coat thoroughly, 3 to 4 minutes.
- Spread nuts on a cookie sheet.
- Bake 15 minutes, tossing once.
