Ingredients

  • 1 pound Lean Hamburger
  • 1 whole Medium Onion, Peeled And Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons Oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoons Parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoons Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons Ground Cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoons Ground Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper
  • 18 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper

Method

  • In a medium bowl, place the hamburger with the rest of the ingredients.
  • Mix well with your hands until all the spices are distributed evenly.
  • Form into desired size burger patties.
  • Oil grates of a grill, or alternatively, use 1 tablespoon of oil in a saucepan.
  • Cook for about 10 minutes on each side (we like ours really well done) until cooked through.
  • If using a saucepan, cover with a top for half of the time cooking (it ensures that the burgers do not dry out).
  • If desired, place cheese over the tops of the burgers for the last few minutes of cooking.
  • Serve with burger buns and desired condiments.
