- 1 pound Lean Hamburger
- 1 whole Medium Onion, Peeled And Finely Chopped
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Oregano
- 1/2 teaspoons Parsley
- 1/2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Cumin
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Pepper
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper
- 18 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
Method
- In a medium bowl, place the hamburger with the rest of the ingredients.
- Mix well with your hands until all the spices are distributed evenly.
- Form into desired size burger patties.
- Oil grates of a grill, or alternatively, use 1 tablespoon of oil in a saucepan.
- Cook for about 10 minutes on each side (we like ours really well done) until cooked through.
- If using a saucepan, cover with a top for half of the time cooking (it ensures that the burgers do not dry out).
- If desired, place cheese over the tops of the burgers for the last few minutes of cooking.
- Serve with burger buns and desired condiments.
