- 2 1/4 Cups Sifted Soft Asilk Cake Flour
- 1 1/2 Cups Sugar
- 3 Tsp. Baking Powder
- 1 Tsp. Salt
- 1 Tsp. Cinnamon
- 1/2 Tsp. Nutmeg
- 1/2 Tsp. Allspice
- 1/2 Tsp. Cloves
- 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 5 Egg Yolks, unbeaten
- 3/4 Cup Cold Water
- 1 Cup Egg Whites (7 or 8)
- 1/2 Tsp. Cream of Tartar
Method
- In a bowl, sift first 8 ingredients together.
- (Spoon cake flour lightly-do not peak.)
