Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 3/4 c. beef gravy
  • 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. dry sherry
  • 1/2 c. sour cream dip with onion
  • hot cooked noodles or rice

Method

  • In a saucepan, brown hamburger and drain.
  • Stir in gravy. Stir in undrained mushrooms and catsup.
  • Add 1 cup water.
  • Cover; bring to boiling.
  • Simmer, covered, 15 minutes.
  • Stir in wine. Gradually blend 1 cup beef mixture into sour cream dip.
  • Return to saucepan.
  • Heat through.
  • Do not boil.
  • Serve over noodles. Sprinkle with paprika.
