Ingredients
- 6 to 7 lb. pork loin country-style spareribs
- 1 (2 lb.) jar sauerkraut
- 3/4 c. onions, coarsely chopped
- 1 c. apples, coarsely chopped
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Broil ribs until brown on all sides.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Combine all other ingredients and place in Dutch oven. Push ribs into mixture. Cover and bake at 350° for 2 hours. Make sure that all liquid does not dry up.
- Add more broth if necessary. Serves 6 to 8.
