Ingredients

  • 1- 3/4 pound Skirt Steak
  • 1/4 cups Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cups Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Dark Corn Syrup
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Ginger
  • 2 teaspoons Dry Mustard
  • 6 cloves Garlic, Minced

Method

  • Combine all ingredients and marinate in refrigerator for one hour.
  • *To serve on skewers, partially freeze steak ahead of time to make it easier to slice into 1/4 strips.
  • Marinate for one hour and then thread onto skewers.
  • Place skewers under broiler for 6-7 minutes, turning once.
  • If using wood skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes before threading meat onto them.
  • *Or, cook the meat as a whole piece on a grill after marinating for about 10 minutes, turning once.
