Ingredients
- 1 c. rice
- chopped onion
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. water
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 1 can stewed tomatoes, chopped
- chopped green pepper (optional)
Method
- Fry rice and chopped onion in butter until browned.
- Add water, salt, pepper, stewed tomatoes with juice and chopped green pepper which is optional and mostly for looks.
- Put on to cook (low) 30 minutes.
- Do not remove lid while cooking.
- When finished, if you desire it a little hotter, add juice from Ro-Tel.
