Ingredients

  • 1 broiler/fryer chicken (2 1/2 to 3 lb.), cut up
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. celery salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
  • 3/4 c. onion, chopped
  • 3/4 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 c. fresh parsley, minced
  • 2 1/4 c. chicken broth
  • 1 c. tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder

Method

  • Place chicken in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Combine garlic salt, celery salt and paprika. Sprinkle over chicken. Bake uncovered at 425° for 20 minutes. Remove chicken from pan.
