Ingredients

  • 1 large loaf bread
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 (16 oz.) can Carnation milk
  • 16 oz. water
  • 16 oz. milk
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. raisins
  • 3 Tbsp. vanilla extract

Method

  • Crumble bread in food processor or tear by hand into small pieces.
  • Combine bread and eggs into one large bowl.
  • Then mix the remaining ingredients into the bowl.
  • Mix well!
  • Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
  • When baking, be sure to put one pan of water and then the pan containing the mix, this will prevent the bottom and sides from burning.
  • You know when it's done by putting in a toothpick and it comes out clear.
