Ingredients

  • 6 oz of spaghetti
  • 2 Tbsp of butter
  • 1/3 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can tomatoes (8 oz)
  • 1 can tomato paste (6 oz)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 carton ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella

Method

  • * Cook spaghetti. Stir butter into hot spaghetti. Add in cheese and eggs.
  • * Form spaghetti mixture into crust in a buttered 9 in. pie pan.
  • * Brown meat and drain fat
  • * Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano, etc. Heat throughly.
  • * Spread cottage cheese over the spaghetti crust. Fill pie with meat
  • and tomato mixture.
  • * Bake uncovered for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • * Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on the top and bake 5 minutes or so until cheese melts.
