- 6 oz of spaghetti
- 2 Tbsp of butter
- 1/3 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can tomatoes (8 oz)
- 1 can tomato paste (6 oz)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1 carton ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
Method
- * Cook spaghetti. Stir butter into hot spaghetti. Add in cheese and eggs.
- * Form spaghetti mixture into crust in a buttered 9 in. pie pan.
- * Brown meat and drain fat
- * Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano, etc. Heat throughly.
- * Spread cottage cheese over the spaghetti crust. Fill pie with meat
- and tomato mixture.
- * Bake uncovered for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
- * Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on the top and bake 5 minutes or so until cheese melts.
