Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. canola oil
  • 1 can extra chunky spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • Italian spices to taste
  • dry spaghetti

Method

  • Combine beef, onion, mushrooms, bell pepper, bread and egg. Mix well.
  • Add Italian spices to taste.
  • Shape into balls.
  • Heat canola oil over medium heat in frying pan.
  • Add meatballs to heated oil and cook until browned.
  • Pour spaghetti sauce over meatballs and simmer.
  • Cook dry spaghetti according to package directions.
  • Serve with hard rolls or French bread.
  • Serves 5.
