- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. canola oil
- 1 can extra chunky spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- Italian spices to taste
- dry spaghetti
Method
- Combine beef, onion, mushrooms, bell pepper, bread and egg. Mix well.
- Add Italian spices to taste.
- Shape into balls.
- Heat canola oil over medium heat in frying pan.
- Add meatballs to heated oil and cook until browned.
- Pour spaghetti sauce over meatballs and simmer.
- Cook dry spaghetti according to package directions.
- Serve with hard rolls or French bread.
- Serves 5.
