Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops (about 1 1/2 lb.)
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 2 c. condensed golden mushroom soup
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 1/3 c. quick cooking rice, uncooked
  • 1/2 c. canned tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. sage
  • 1 1/3 c. water

Method

  • Brown chops and celery until tender in cooking oil.
  • Pour off drippings. Combine remaining ingredients and pour into a 12 x 8-inch baking
  • dish. Arrange chops and celery on top. Cover and bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Serves 6.
