Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 3/4 c. oil
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 to 7 c. flour (all-purpose)
Method
- Dissolve yeast in water.
- Add buttermilk, then other ingredients.
- Mix well with stainless spoon.
- Make biscuits; place in a well-greased pan.
- No need to let rise.
- Bake 18 to 20 minutes at 400°.
- Keeps 2 weeks refrigerated.
