Ingredients
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. jello (any fruit flavor)
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 c. light cream
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. sour cream
Method
- Dissolve jello, sugar and salt in boiling water.
- Stir in light cream and vanilla (mixture will look curdled, but will become smooth).
- Stir is sour cream.
- Chill until slightly thickened.
- Beat until smooth.
- Pour into a 3 or 4-cup ring mold. Chill until firm; unmold.
- Serve with fruit if desired.
- Makes 3 cups or 6 servings.
