Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breast
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
  • 1 stack round buttery crackers
  • 1 stick melted butter

Method

  • Place chicken in saucepan.
  • Add water to cover; cook gently until tender, 40 to 50 minutes.
  • Cool.
  • Cut into bite-size pieces. Place in buttered baking dish.
  • Mix soup and sour cream; pour over chicken.
  • Crush crackers and mix with melted butter. Sprinkle over casserole.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
  • Yields 4 to 6 servings.
