Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 pt. sour cream
Method
- Cream sugar and butter.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
- Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with sour cream.
- Fold in vanilla.
- Bake in greased and floured angel food or Bundt pan at 325° for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
