Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/4 c. ripe, mashed bananas
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. sour cream

Method

  • Combine and stir dry ingredients.
  • Cream margarine with sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, bananas, nuts and sour cream.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients and mix at low speed until blended.
  • Pour into greased (Pam works great) 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan and bake at 350° for 1 hour or until bread tests done.
  • Yields 1 loaf.
