Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 c. flour
- 1 beaten egg
- coarse salt
Method
- Stir water and yeast in bowl until dissolved.
- Add salt, sugar and flour.
- Mix.
- Knead and roll into shapes.
- Place on greased cookie sheets.
- Sprinkle with salt, if desired.
- Let rise 20 to 30 minutes.
- Bake at 425° for 12 to 15 minutes.
