Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Three 10-ounce packages frozen snow peas
  • One 8-ounce can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 1/4 cup Grand Marnier
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint, or 1 1/2 tablespoons dried mint
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method

  • Bring 1 cup of water to a boil and add the sugar.
  • Drop in the snow peas and cook until barely tender, drain, and return to pan.
  • Add the water chestnuts, Grand Marnier, butter, mint, and salt.
  • Cook over medium-low heat until heated through.
