Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 large pkg. dates
- 5 to 6 c. Rice Krispies
Method
- Let the first 4 ingredients cook over low heat in heavy bottom container until smooth, or until dates have dissolved.
- Remove from heat.
- Add 5 or 6 cups of Rice Krispies.
- After they are mixed well, spread out in large pan.
- Press down; sprinkle with coconut.
- While still warm, cut into small squares.
