Ingredients
- 2 cans French-style beans (green)
- 5 slices bacon
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
Method
- Fry bacon until crisp; drain.
- Add sugar and vinegar to drippings.
- After onion has been sauteed, pour over beans and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Crumble in bacon.
- Set aside.
- Reheat when ready to serve.
