Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 3/4 c. sugar, divided
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon

Method

  • On wax paper, stir together flour and baking powder; set aside.
  • In large pan, melt butter.
  • Remove from heat; stir in 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs until smooth.
  • Gradually stir in flour mixture until a smooth dough forms.
  • Cover tight and refrigerate at least 1 hour or up to 3 days.
  • Mix rest of sugar and cinnamon on wax paper.
  • Roll dough into balls by a teaspoon and roll in mix.
  • Bake at 375° on nonstick cookie sheet for 8 to 12 minutes.
