Ingredients
- 1 lb. smoked sausage
- 4 to 5 medium potatoes
- 1 medium onion
- 1 small cabbage
- 2 to 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3/4 c. boiling water
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- paprika
Method
- Cut up sausage.
- Pare and slice potatoes.
- Place potatoes in large skillet.
- Slice onion and place in layer over potatoes.
- Add layer of thinly sliced cabbage.
- Add butter and salt to boiling water, stirring to melt.
- Pour over vegetables.
- Place pieces of sausage on top and sprinkle with 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
- Cover tightly and cook on low for 22 to 25 minutes or until vegetables are done.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
